It's going to replace my need for TC2 for sure, but since it's better xp/recruit, should I just flip my TC11s into TC20s and rely on HA level 1 to train feeders? It's way faster, better xp, but would suck up every ounce of food possible. Obviously this is much more of a food sink than TC11, but it's better xp per recruit, and way, way, WAY faster. That's 150 xp per recruit, 150 xp per minute, and 30 xp per 1k food. The Hero Academy (abbreviated HA) is an advanced building that can train 1-4 star heroes (in some respects faster, cheaper or better than a Training Camp). Tyr’s Adamantite Claw, at Fast Mana Speed, deals 285 damage to the target, which has a 60 chance. Santa Clawed At first glance, his damage may not seem too high - until you find out his other abilities. Deals 327 damage to target and nearby enemies over 3 turns. Looking up the stats for Hero Academy, it seems level 1 requires 1 recruit, 5k food, and produces a 1* hero. Prevents his target and nearby enemies from gaining mana for 3 turns. Shifting to TC2 only produces 54 xp per recruit, but still really high xp per food and obviously four times faster xp/time invested. To go to battle, you will need a team of 5 heroes, one for each gem color. (Assuming 50/50 output between 1* and 2* heroes, you get 270 xp per 1k food, 135 xp per recruit, but 2.25 xp per minute invested.) This offsets well with TC20 which is a pure food/recruit/time sink. You might not have expected to need a hero and troops guide for a Match-3 game, but Empires & Puzzles smoothly blends RPG elements into the mix and allows players to completely customize their armies.
It's always worked well for me because TC11 has from what I can tell, the highest XP per recruit and highest XP per food. Players can set their Raid Formation by going into their Hero Academy and tapping on the 'Raid Formations' tab. When I'd build up an excess of 30 days in both, I'd cull down by shifting one TC11 into TC2, running that for a few days, then shifting back. The feature is available in the Hero Academy, however, players can still face teams with different Defense Team Formations even if they do not have the Hero Academy yet. So historically I've run two TC20s and two TC11s to always have troops training. Experience (xp) numbers are shown on base levels, disregarding the 20% bonus for color coordinating.
